Comprehensive campaign

A DISEASE THAT CUTS DEEP is the main message of a high-profile national campaign we designed together with the non-profit organisation Zavod Atopika. The client's wish was to shed light on this widespread, urgent health situation and lay the foundations for fundamental change in the field going forward, which we undoubtedly achieved.

Goals

Empower patients with atopic dermatitis and give them a voice.
In the long term, achieve fundamental change in how the disease is perceived and treated.
Raise awareness of this disease among the general public.

Visits to Zavod Atopika's Facebook page increased by 127% during the campaign, and on Instagram by as much as 148%.

How we work

A challenge we quickly faced was the limited resources of the client - a non-profit organisation. To achieve the set goals, we used the agency's creative capital to deliver the campaign comprehensively across various digital channels.

In excellent cooperation with the client we designed a clear, emotionally strong message, a visually striking creative and a video backed by facts and personal experiences featuring patients.
We placed these three at the centre of the landing page: atopijski-dermatitis.si - which is also the campaign's main "landing strip".
We brought people to the landing page from ads, posts on social media, citylight billboards across Slovenia and even ad messages people could see on buses.

Results

A huge number of people who live with the troubles of atopic dermatitis 24/7 recognised themselves in it, and may have felt heard and seen for the first time in their lives.
People could see a topic they usually face behind closed doors on citylight billboards, bus ads, online ads and social media, which is an important step toward "normalising" the topic.
Visits to Zavod Atopika's Facebook page increased by 127% during the campaign, and on Instagram by 148%.
Through a form on the website, Zavod Atopika gathered concrete information from patients and proposals for change, which became the foundation and pointed the direction for the organisation's further work.
