Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit the page. On your next visit, the browser sends them back to the server, which uses this information to recognise the user and adapt the experience.

Cookies in themselves cannot access data on your device or other cookies. They do not contain viruses or malicious software.

In addition to cookies, we may use related technologies for similar purposes, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), pixels and embedded code from third-party providers.

Under ZEKom-2 and GDPR, we distinguish two legal bases for the use of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies are placed without your consent because they are strictly necessary for the website's operation (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 225 ZEKom-2).
• Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing, preference cookies) are placed only on the basis of your explicit consent (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 225 ZEKom-2).

Consent is voluntary. You can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You can change or withdraw consent in the cookie settings, accessible at the bottom of our website.

On your first visit to the website, a cookie banner appears that allows you to:

• accept or reject each category of cookies separately (without pre-checked boxes),
• accept only strictly necessary cookies with one click,
• accept all cookies with one click.

Until you express consent, non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) are not placed and data from these categories is not collected. You can change your settings at any time by clicking the cookies icon in the bottom-left corner of the page.

We classify cookies on www.pakt.si into four categories based on their purpose. Details about individual cookies are listed in the sections below.

• Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the basic operation of the website. Without them, the page cannot work properly. They do not require your consent.
• Preference cookies remember your choices (e.g. language, region) so we can offer you a tailored experience on subsequent visits.
• Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it.
• Marketing cookies enable the display of relevant ads and the measurement of advertising campaign effectiveness.

The website may also contain content from third-party providers (embedded videos, maps), which may set their own cookies. The privacy policies of the individual providers apply to these cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies provide the basic functions of the website, such as navigation between pages, session preservation and access to secure areas. Without these cookies the website cannot work properly, so they are placed automatically and do not require your consent.

Preference cookies allow the website to remember your choices that affect the look or behaviour of the page, such as language or region. These cookies are placed only if you accept them.

We use analytics cookies to see how visitors use our website. The collected data is aggregated and helps us improve the page.

Marketing cookies track visitors across websites to display ads that are more relevant to the individual user. We also use them to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and for remarketing.

With your consent, we collect and share advertising-related data in line with Google's Consent Mode (Consent Mode v2). This data may be used to:

• analyse the effectiveness of advertising campaigns,
• tailor ads to your interests,
• measure conversions (e.g. whether an ad led to an inquiry).

Without your consent, this data is not collected. The advertising data settings (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are set to denied by default and are activated only upon your explicit confirmation.

On our website we use the services of the following third-party providers, which may place their own cookies:

• Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, YouTube), privacy policy
• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel), privacy policy
• Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity), privacy policy
• Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile), privacy policy

The privacy policies of the third-party providers apply to their cookies.

In relation to cookies and the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:

• Right to consent and withdrawal: On your first visit to the website, we ask for your consent for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw or change consent at any time.
• Right to be informed: This policy informs you of all the cookies we use, their purpose, duration and providers.
